Default Fuji FinePix S602 - Pro vs Non-Pro

Hi,

I'm thinking of purchasing this camera and was wondering the difference between the pro and non-pro versions other than the Pro being all black in color. Are both version IBM microdrive compatable?

The newer model (pro) is black, has flash sync and a cable release. Other than that - they are virtually identical. Both are CF Type II compatible (take MicroDrive or CF Type II flash).

Yeah, what Lin said. The flash sync and cable release support would be enough for me to buy the Pro version.

I use the remote cable release absolutely loads on my camera (an Oly C-730) and even though I don't use it's flash sync port at the moment, I can appreciate it's uses and I'm sure to need it sooner or later when I start taking photography a bit more seriously.

Doesn't the pro version come with a 340MB CF card as well? That's another big selling point - especially if you plan to play with the cameras video recording features.

I thought it was a microdrive? - I doubt even Fuji can get the 602 to work properly with big CF to sell it with the cam - or is this something that got fixed in the Pro?

Sorry, my mistake - I meant MicroDrive.
