Default Some new fotos

I'll try here as the foto place doesn't get visited as much - sorry for duplication.

Went out walking today and took a few (no alot) of fotos. Here's the best of the bunch. All pics were taken using the Oly 730 with a Polarising filter on and hand held. They have all been altered with Levels, Saturation and Sharpening.

This area is around a Vilage called Beeston, about 15 miles from Chester where I live. We walk this neck of the woods frequently for obvious reasons.

Hope you enjoy them.

Nice photos. I like the first one the clouds look like you can touch them.

Great shots, Steve...the polarizer really came through on that first one...

More blue skies from England...this is getting depressing...I mean winter can be beautiful, but it's time for it to pack it in and give way to spring!

A rare thing over here. Even more rare was having those lovely fluffy white clouds to take advantage of. An almost perfect foto day.

For once I could really see the polariser working it's magic through the view finder.

Next time I go to Tatton Park (in the summer) I'll do just that.

I take it you like Japanese gardens?

Brilliant photos Steve.

Our countryside (on a nice day) with all the historic buildings really takes some beating doesn't it? I live near Ludlow in South Shropshire and I can't wait for a sunny summer's day to go and have a good walk around the town, especially the castle, with my camera.

The effect of the filter on the clouds in the first photo is stunning. I have a 55mm polariser but no adaptor tube for my C-730 so I can't use it. Now I've seen your photos though, I'll have to get one.

Also, it's recommended to keep the tube and a UV or Skylight filter on the camera at all times to protect the lens assembly from bumps, dust, or other injuries. The only time I take mine off is when using the internal flash (the tube blocks a bit of the flash at wide-angle settings).

The tube is currently being discussed in both the Oly_C-700 and Olympus-C730 Yahoo groups.

I've been to Ludlow a few times. A really nice place. Had a nice walk by the river on a nice sunny day.

Very beautiful county Shropshire.
