Default Compact Flash card with built-in USB Port?

Hi All,
A couple of months ago I came across a news which said that there was a chinese manufacturer of CF cards that has manufactured a card that has a USB port built-in and does not requires a card reader to upload the files to a computer.
Has anybody got any info or link to the above mentioned type of CF card, if at all the product really exists.
thanks in advance
ajeet

Funny...it's like those companies who advertised a 2-in-1 shampoo to save you time in the shower, and then claimed to have invented a separate shampoo and conditioner a year later for those who don't like the 2-in-1! This is the same thing, card readers were invented so you don't have to have a dangly loose cord on your desk, and now this was invented so you don't have to have the cardreader on your desk but you have the dangly loose cord again!

Anyway, this product's been out for a while now by companies called Lexar and Netac. The problem is cost, from http://www.pdagold.com/discussions/d...p?TopicID=3180:

256MB CF card WITH USB = 149.00 ($237US)
256MB CF card (common) = 59.99 ($95US)

(US prices converted from by me.)

You're looking at almost three times the price for the USB CF.
