So far:

-Kodak DCS Pro 14n
-Minolta DiMage 5, 7, 7i, and 7Hi

The above are cameras that you can select a folder for subsequent images, and create folders with a custom name:

-Minolta DiMage S404: only folder selection (you need to make the custom directories on the flash card via PC, before using it on the camera). I assume S414 is the same too. This is great cuz the s404/s414 is only 699 Canadian.

Well it seems like this isn't such an unattended feature! I'll keep looking, there's gotta be more cameras out there (I am going manual by manual).

Minolta seems to be the 'man'. I'm surprised some D-SLR's have no custom directory features.

... It's probably the cheapest full-featured 4Mp around with a decent front filter thread, but this camera won't take a microdrive so as long as you stay with CF-1 you're OK!

found some more:

Nikon Coolpix 4300/5700 - select, create, rename, delete

Nikon Coolpix 880 - select and create, not sure about more
