A good site or photo to enable me to adjust my screen colors properly.. My new lcd screen doesn't seem remotely as accurate with colors, bbrightness, etc.. as my old clunker box... Is there a site or ? I can go to .. that will enable me to assure that I have contrast, etc.. set correctly on my comp?

Is it that different colors aren't balanced or do you mean that dark and bright areas of images doesn't look good?

Problem of TFT techonology is that they can't well produce black color because backlight tends to shine through, then not many of them are capable to retaining different shades, everything just goes black (or that dark grey) after certain darkness, also same happens in bright end, resolving of different shades can be very lousy meaning everything bright just burns "through".

So despite of advocates of TFTs there's still problems in those and CRTs have areas where they're constantly better.
And differences between performance of different TFT models are huge, some are actually good while others can be very lousy.
