Which manufacturer of memory card is best for a Canon SD550? There are so many different brands it gets confusing. Bought a quality camera and I would like a quality card!:?

Stick with one of the brand names...anything by Sandisk or Lexar (the first two to come to mind) will work fine. If you're planning on doing alot of video, make sure you get the largest, fastest card they offer.

you dont need the absolute fastest card, just one that can receive faster than the camera can send the data to it. For the SD series of camera, you will want the Ultra II series of cards form sandisk. They will allow the full range of burst shooting and movie clips. You dont need the extreme III as the camera cant send the data that fast.
