Default Canon Powershot A200 question ! :-)

Hi there!

I can't find the option on my Powershot A200 to automatically put the date on each picture.. !

I don't find the info in the manual ... can anyone help?

Did the specs say there is one? I don't know of any digital camera that does that.

Most digicams embed this information into the picture invisibly. This is called Exif info, and you'll need an Exif reader to view this info (also included are the settings you used to take the picture, zoom, f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, etc.). If you wish to have the date on a photo you can use a photo editing program to place the text on the photo before printing.

Also, the date is included in the file information which you can view on your computer.

You may want to ask specifically in the Canon forum here since it's a Canon specific question...you may find someone who uses that specific camera.
