Default Hip/back/shoulder packs

Any recommendations on a good hip/back/shoulderpack for carrying a Panasonic DMC-FZ1 and a tripod around? I want to go hiking with above equipment and I just want something cheap, but good, that will easily carry it.

TIA

Wouldn't we all. All the people I talk to like LowePro bags. They care a lot about it being comfortable to wear and they have good padding, logical layout (most of the time), and you can alter the internal layout of many of them. But they are not cheap. I don't know if they are "expensive", per say... but too many people say they are amazing for the company to under priced. I know that many of LowePro's products are designed to have a tripod strapped to them.

I would recommend going to a store which carries lots of bags and check them out. What is good for me might not be good for you. I know I did this awhile back and I changed my mind about what bag I wanted.
