Default Need Advice - Am I being to picky? New Camera - Sony

I just bought my first real digital camera and I don't know if I should keep it or return it. I see a defect in all the pictures and I don't know if I am being too picky or not. Please look at the two pictures. I have marked the dark spot on the first picture. You can see the dark spot in the second picture also. I bought a Sony DSC-P51. Its a 2 MP with a 2x optical. It was a demo unit and I think it might be damaged. Only paid $125 for it. Can I do better for $125? So I don't know if I should keep it or return it. Please let me know.

Thanks for your help,

I would not keep that cam.
Is that by any chance a dirt spot on the lens ?

There were some finger prints on the lense and I cleaned them off. I can't see anything on the lense at this point... So it might be in the sensor. Don't know for sure.

... Just got an idea ...
Since it's not just a demo, it's a defective demo, can you make a deal with your sale person , at let say 75$ ?, then it worth (IMO) for a first digicam to familiarize with the digiword , you can easily correct the pictures later in editors (with clone tool) as the defect is in the corner and in 90% of case won’t have important details.

Thanks for all your responses. I did take the camera back and the store did not give me any problems. But they did not have any more Sony P51's to replace it and now they are discontinued. They did have a nice 3MP Sony, but it was $230 and did not have a zoom. Way over my $125 budget. I guess something will turn up. In the short period I owned the Sony P51, I did take some very nice pictures and had lots of fun... and that is what it's all about.
