I really hate to scratch up the LCD, so I was checking these out on eBay. They're around $10 for one piece.
Here are the links:

Wondering if anybody has had experience with them?

I bought one of those "hoodman" models that fit the sony f 828 (had the name on it, which I especially liked) and it is a hinged model, so the cover flips up to cut glare. I love it. It is much better than the clear plastic stickons that we use on our lcd's and palm pilots. only because I found when I put the camera in the case, it always rubbed a corner, peeling the clear plastic away....The Hoodman hasn't done that yet, good buy!

so the ones from daproducts.com, they're reusable AND they don't leave sticky residue? what about under extreme weathers?

oh can someone help me search which one fits my digicam? Sony Cybershot DSC-w50 -- I can't get the "Protector Selector" to work because it needs an additional javascript plug-in I need to download, but I can't seem to download it. I think Da Protector 6 (Model 117) is the one for me, but I want to make sure.

nevermind about the "daproducts" LCD protector -- doesn't seem like they make them for the newer sony cybershot w series. i'll probably have to trust one off ebay.. *crosses fingers*
