Never mind DiMage, people can't agree on the pronounciation of Porsche and Mercedees! (many Brits call the latter a "Murk")

Dim - Image? pretty funny. Remember the American Motors folks (true story) who wanted to name a new car "The Beaver"? Someone (I know not who) stood up and said "Gentlemen, please, you don't want to do this."

I e-mailed Konica Minolta with this same question via their site and did not receive a reply...Not even an auto-response. They must get asked this a lot, and you'd think it would be on their site somewhere.

I thought the answer would surely be somewhere here at Steve's, and it was! I'm glad to hear I was right in how I pronounced it, for I nicknamed my camera Joe from the start, as in Joe DiMAGE-eo. Must. Tell. Husband. I. Was. Right.
