Default What is the correct pronunciation of DiMAGE. . .

. . .Dee-image, D'image, D'imaaje, Duh- Image? The local So. Calif. electronic store sales geeks don't have a clue (nor do I). Do any of you folks know for sure? How have you heard it pronounced?

No matter how it's pronounced, the 7Hi looks like a really nice camera.

How do you pronounce Dimage?
It sounds like Joe Dimagio without the "io" sound. D + Maj

"Duh- Image"?...Hmm, I think the marketing folks @ Minolta need to work on this one. I've never thought of this, but "Dim-Image" and "Damage" do not sound good either, plus its utilitarian look doesn't help the matter at all regardless of how excellent the camera is...

"Cool-Pix" for example, sounds so much better... and the cameras are cute too!

I've always just thought it was "Dimage" (as in the contraction of dim and image).
