Does a polarizing filter work effectively in low light situations such as sunsets to enhance the oranges and reds produced during said situations?

I know I could go test it out but that would require waiting until sunset and I'm curious. :G

A good polarizer is color neutral. It won't enhance the colors in a sunset. The sky isn't polarized to any noticeable degree at sunset and you won't get much effect at all other than remove reflections from water.
