Another HDR at my favorite spot

Okay folks here's one more from my favorite spot. Next time i promise a new area. 3 bracketed exposures merged together in Photomatix. Levels and contrast were enhanced in Photoshop CS5. Lens flares were also removed. Noise was reduced in Neat Image Pro 6.0.

Everything is just fine except the sky. How about trying to lay the overexposed shot (one on the right of 3) and use your opacity control to try to clean up and brighten the sky a bit. Just enough to take out that HDR dirty look. After I did an HDR of your three shots I did as I suggested. I think it works.

WOW, WOW, great shot.

I agree about the halos in the sky - I'd only take part of the sky and try to blend it into the HDR version, which I like just the way it is.

Really like your first image. It is very striking.

After reading Bynx comments I can see a point about the sky seems a little dark with such a bright sun and minimum clouds. So taking your original and brightening the sky sounds like a good combination.

I like the sky that Bynx added but prefer the coloring in the trees and water of your original.

Thanks for sharing all of these.
