If you are tired of looking at spectacular scenery in Norway then rest your eyes in a hallway in Canada.

Bynx, you have to know that I NEVER get tired of looking at HDR's "straight outta Norway"
![]() ![]() The hall-HDR is really nicely done - I like the symetry of the shot. Just a question: Is this hall leading to infinity or does it have an ending? It looks really great ![]()

Nice, but where're the boats, the rocks and the wonderful sunny horizons?

Bynx, you crack me up...Nice shot, it reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode, no matter how fast you run, walk or crawl you can never reach the exit. Or Hotel California, "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"

Funny you should say that, the Twilight Zone was on my mind too.

I was so amused by your comments that I forgot to write what I thought of the pic, but I see that Scottie beat me to it "Twilight Zone" or "The shining". A very cool picture that only needs a head rolling out one of the doors to complete the setting. But my imagination can provide that part, so you don't have to help with this.

The picture itself, the symmetry and the perspective of the vanishing point, way down there is an interesting, and clever idea.
And it's a nice break from those damn Norwegian seascapes we see here every day... ![]() But the white-balance, together with the odd pattern of this aweful wall to wall carpet is a bit creepy. Sinister almost. Well it gives me the goospumps, anyway. I'm sure that's not what you intended, Bynx? Giving me the 'creeps'? |
