Pseudo-HDR Trees

Thought it was about time I posted a few of my own pics. First two are from a recent holiday to Australia. The rest are from the woodland near my house. Camera is a Canon IXUS 950IS, compact digital. Pictures processed through my own HDR program and individually cropped but otherwise unedited.

Martin: numbering the picks is a good idea.
I like the green tree in the second post and very much the last shot.
In the first pick of the last post, there's a severe flattening of the image, a usual consequence of HDR.

Thanks Ordo - all numbered now.
I think #6 is my favourite too, probably followed by #3 - I processed on 'Normal' on the HDR to keep the light looking nice. I went 'very hard' with the HDR on #5 and agree it was probably a step too far although I do like the amount of fine detail it's brought out.

Contrast and Sharpness simple controls could be a nice addenda to your already good program.

Martin, If you're using Photoshop may I suggest you try their preview for the Web option? All these images look like they lost something in the translation. Mind you, all good, but sort of have a washed out look.
