Tried another set of pictures to see if i could get some better results. Photomatix i think did an excellent job with this set. Let me know what you think

I agree the photomatrix seemed to work well for this series. Very nice shot.

I would have taken out the flare in the sky on the right side in each of the exposures. Shooting into the sun isnt easy and it doesnt work for me in this instance.

I love the scene, unfortunately it's a bit spoiled thanks to the flares

I hope you don't mind -- I was curious how DPHDR (Dynamic Photo HDR) would render the shot and see how it will handle the flares. They're still there but less I think. It may be the preset tonemap you used (or sliders) that brought out the flares. Very nice composition.

I like how you handled most of the picture, but I'm not crazy about how the sun came out - the transition really bothers me. I think I'd probably take the sun from the darkest one and try placing it over the harsh transition, but I'm not sure it would work. Or you could try some other way to deal with it. Otherwise, it's quite nice.
