Default Some Homes in My Neighborhood.

The title says it all.
If you look in the left hand windows bottom floor of the house there are 4 clocks on the wall. Each of 4 children live in different parts of the world so they keep track of local time with those clocks.

They are both good, but I love the first one. Having the moon and the house both properly exposed is just awesome!

I like the 1st image. I can't see the clocks you speak about, but it is a nice human interest element.

I like the darkness of the first one it is just beautiful. It's almost like you (the photographer) are telling me (the viewer), "Hey look they can't see me taking a picture of their house." I love the moon being the only bright but still highly-detailed object.

Hey I just noticed something. The moon in both photos is the same one I shot prior. I pasted it in both pics. Also the house was taken earlier in the day before it got dark but they still had the lights on as per my request.

#1 is a very good HDR with nice and gentle values throughout. Perfect exposed and framed. I like it very much. I keep coming back to look at this warm interior-lights and the smooth facade (fassade?) of the house. Also the top window and specially the beautifully lit front-porch is a delight to look at.

Love it!

# 2 leaves me more or less un-exited somehow.

Thanks Walter. I feel pretty much the same. #1 won me the town photo contest for which I received a digital photo frame. #2 is where I live. The original picture looks a lot better than the one that is posted. Something really bad happened and I dont now how to fix it. So Im going to redo that pic from scratch.

#1 is probably the best shot I've ever seen from you, Bynx. #2 is a good shot for HDR purposes but it's just not as interesting compositionally!
