Default Night landscape with moon

I used PhotoMatix. The image was shot with a Leica M8 and a Voightlander 12mm lens. The longest exposure was about 20 seconds.

Wow, thats really nice. Is the moon a paste-up? Weird clouds. They have the texture of kinky hair.

Thank you both. Yes there is motion because this was taken over a period of a few minutes and the clouds were moving as was the earth.

I like the effect the moving clouds have on that dynamic night-sky, Caryl. Also the moon is very good exposed.
You have cought a very special athmosphere her - I like it!
