Default First HDR with my lumix FZ35

First HDR with my new camera, and i would like to know your opinion.

I used Photomatix to merge the jpg's and some layering and saturation colors in Photoshop CS3. I took the shots placing the camera on a tripod of course.

They're a little overcooked for my taste as well but that aside they've been done well except maybe for #3 which doesn't look right somewhow.
Second to last is the best I think - just needs the horizon straightened a bit and some recovery of the blown highlights in the sky if you can manage it.

i like them all ...a great set number 4 being my favourite if i must choose the person sat right at the end is great floyd there are many ways of expressing hdr and i am a fan of most especially overcooked if done correctly ..... good job welldone

You're off to a nice start. I agree with other comments that they're a bit over done and unrealistic, but that's all part of the learning curve. Keep at it!

Comments have a tendency of being very subjective. Plus they are judging your photographs based on there monitors. Not all monitors are created equal. It is the print that counts.

That's truth, but if most of the people comment in the same direction, the subjective becomes objective.
