Can you post the central RAW please. A simple edit may give better results.

no way the central raw will have any detail in the barn/field to pull out. we can see that from the jpeg.

Everyone talks about HDR theory but lets see it in practice compared to the central RAW, as I've suggested previously. My examples showed editing the central RAW gave much better results than the HDR from the camera jpgs but I've love to see others' examples.

Some RAW's have probably been given a bad image (if you'll excuse the pun) because of poor conversion. Have you read " Some RAW Truths about RAW Converters" ?
