Default Ulebergshamn Harbor

It was such a long time since taking landscape pictures, it started to itch

Me and my brother went down to Ulebergshamn; a part of Hunnebostrand to take some pictures. I couldn't help myself from taking a HDR or two :O

This might look a bit like my Norweigian HDRing friend Walter_S's HDRs since we're basically on the same grounds I wonder if it'll play to my advantage, hehe...

My favorites are the 1st and 3rd HDR pictures, really like them. When I saw the first one I figured you couldn't get better than that, but I really like the lines of the third one, so it comes a close second. Your second one is significantly improved by using HDR, but the lighting was really against you. Just my personal opinion but I don't think your last picture works well with the Orton effect added, I like the sharp version.

Thanks for the nice comment I was such a tool when I shot these picks. They are taken with an ISO of 800 ! And I've done no noise reduction at all... The D50 is really kind on noise, but anywho, it did give me some problems getting them done to be honest.

I should maybe had thought of the composition of the 2nd a bit better lightning wise, but it turned out nicely enough and it really shows that HDR was a giant leap so... good and bad at the same time

Yeah, it was like...the 2nd time I ever used the Orton effect... Not really sure when to use it actually Need to be testing that better
