Default Seaweed 3D feeling from HDR

Hello friends

Here is a HDR from 3 bracketed photos from my camping trip earlier this week.

When I processed it with Photomatix, the colours and micro-detail / contrast of the seaweed (kelp) in this capture really 'came to life'.

It gives me much more of the 3D (3 dimensional) feeling - I was really impressed. As I used my Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm, it is an ultra wide angle shot... hence the sea in the background appears very distant, but it wasn't too far away (maybe 20 metres).

Would like to hear your thoughts on it - whether you think this is worthy to keep, and how you like (or don't) the HDR processing here...

Thanks.

Paul

Many thanks Bynx...

The colours and visual 'texture' of the seaweed / kelp at the bottom of the photo is just as I remember it being...

So yes, I want to try more - and use HDR for the life-like effects it can give.

Have a good Monday!

Paul

Hummmm. That almost looks edible. LOL but if it was me I would edit out the ocean and beach just keeping the seaweed. I don't know why, I just think there is too much irrelevance in the over all shot. But that's just me i guess.... Frank
