Default Primitive Baptist Church

A nice fall day in Cades Cove in the Smokies.
3 shot HDR at 1.5 stops difference.

Interesting one, Mugmar, particularly with the autumn colours.

It has a somewhat 'hazy' or slightly blurred effect - or is it just my eyes / monitor combination.

(I don't find the building all that attractive, to be honest). I have the feeling with such few and small windows it will be horribly dark inside. I like buildings which have a lot of natural light. Maybe that's what 'shaped' my thinking / feeling about this one.

Certainly plenty of shadow tone... but just feels a bit soft or something.

Thanks for looking Paul. The original is a bit sharper, but it was a foggy morning. Most of the old churches in this area are shaped the same with small windows along the side and nothing front or back. There is an interesting cemetery in the back.
