Default Gum Swamp

I've started playing around with HDR. This is a +2,0,-2 shot.

I'm not a big fan of HRD, but you've done a nice job of capturing the light with this image. Nice!

BTW, what section of Cades Cove is this? I visited there in April this year and obviously missed this spot!

Hi Jehan, thanks for the kind words. This swamp is located about 1/4 or so past the visitors center at the half way point. It is located on the left side of the road. It's kinda hard to see, but is a cool place to check out.

I really like your light touch with HDR. Nice composition, and the still water leaves a cool, serene look to the image.

If the sky isnt visible you can be way off with HDR processing and get away with it. You've done a good job here mugmar.

Thanks Barbarian & Bynx. I almost did not take this shot because I was not sure it was gonna do anything for me. I'm glad I did, because now this one is gonna be hanging on the wall.
