Default Portland Head Lighthouse

Went on a Canada/New England road trip over the last 2 weeks with my wife, and one of my "must-see" destinations was the Portland Head Light in Maine. It did not disappoint. We got there in the late evening, and watched the full moon rise behind the house over the Atlantic. It was spectacular.

Before they kicked me out (park closes at sunset) I shot as much as I could. This particular image is an HDR from 7 exposures.

I should probably go into photoshop and straighten the horizon, but I think I'll just leave it... gives it character.

good job here Steve. Great detail and color int the rocks, water and lighthouse. The sky looks a bit off to me. (could be my laptop monitor) I also would straighten the horizon so all the water does not run out and leave you with no beach

Thanks! I completely agree. I don't know why I didn't just fix the horizon from the start. And you're right, the HDR combining left the sky looking odd. Here's my attempt at cleaning it up a little bit. I think with your advice it's significantly better!
