Well Zig a good pixel is hard to come by and there is no sense wasting any of them if at all possible. If I have to crop my image I feel like I really screwed up and am losing something. Which is ultimately image quality.

Thanks Nick. Its nice to know someone is looking.

Wow. Just perfect. Just enough dark in the trees to make it real.

Thanks Barbarian. Seems like this is the only place I will be seeing you from now on.

I've been banned from the other place?

Just been really busy, and haven't had much time to do pictures. Job's been really demanding lately.

That is a perfect shot, pure eyecandy. I could see framing it.

Absolutely love this shot. Having spent my youth's summers on lakes and in canoes, this composition just speaks to me. And you crown the shot with the white pine against the sky.

But here's the thing -- the canoe's painter is not tied off. I can hear a counsellor reminding one of the campers to make sure the canoe is tied up. And don't try and tell me there was a stout branch buried in the sand hidden by the bow ;-)

Just a great capture and post-processing. Thanks for sharing this image
