Default Chevrolet Apache 10

I was looking for subjects to photograph and asked the owner of an old barn for permission to wander his property with camera in hand. He said sure. I discovered this old pickup truck behind the barn (it had not been visible from the roadway). Turned out to be the highlight of my day. This is a 3 shot bracket, with tripod, RAW, and merged using NIK HDR Efex Pro2. As the truck was in the shade, I had to tweak the image to reveal some of the detail in the shadows.

Cheers, Dan

Just realized that my previous image looked a little soft, so am re-posting a sharper version. Dan

Nice find, Dan. Nice job on the HDR as well. Actually, I like the first version.

The sad long gone days when trucks looked and worked like trucks. Good find and PP.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I always feel a pang of regret when I see old vehicles in decay. Dan

Nice find. With the wheels half buried, you know it's been there for a loooong time.
Love those old trucks.
