Default hdr attempt

did a quick 3 shot exposure handheld to try out the hdr photo merge in lightroom cc i dont think it came out to bad

I dont see much HDR effect to the image. Your 3 shots must have been 1 stop apart or less. The shadow area is still pretty dark while at the same time your sky doesnt look that bad. I recommend using a tripod since the images should line up perfectly. I do handheld at times, but the result has never been good enough. Also minimum 5 shots should be used to get a really nice image. You can use 3 as you have here and since 3 is the maximum allowed by most cameras.
