Default Increased dynamic range from a single image

An example of increasing the dynamic range of a single picture. The app. used was EasyHDR.

Was the image you used a jpeg or a raw file? I ask that because there is so much more info in a raw file than we think of, like the dynamic range. While, a jpeg has been stripped of most of that info, especially the dynamic range.

It can only have been a jpeg because I don't remember ever using RAW. I guess I ought to try it sometime.

I've used the picture now and again for a Christmas card. It's obviously not Art Gallery material but people seem to like it.
