Well time for me to change the Subject and get some attention back on Mustek. My favorite camera , yes the Mustedk dv series. As i do not see an Image yet, it sure seems to be theri newest release soon. from July 2006. it is a av input recorder and all the standard features of the hybrids. size ofa ciggerrette box they say well lets see if a picwill be available before the hype hits |

Yes looks like a cool device. Pity it's not available in the USA and I don't see it on the UK website either considering they said expected to ship July.
Mustek seem to have a habit of stretching reality further than most: "A personal video recorder (PVR) for recording straight from a TV or DVD player, a VGA-quality digital camcorder, plus a 10-megapixel digital still camera, voice recorder and MP3 player...the DV536 does it all" It isn't a 10MP digital still camera, it's a 5MP one. I wish they would stop this. This is a classic example of using Pseudo Megapixels to sell a product. The native 5MP sensor is still pretty good for a product of this class but I guess they are trying to convince people that they can get 10MP 'on the cheap'. |
