I got a reply from Aiptek and he wasn't aware of them pulling the MPVR+ off the shelves as well. Fishycomics, do you know if the MPVR+ model is still available in Target? I wonder if Walgreens got too many returns or just decided to sell only the MPVR for economic reasons.

I got a reply back after asking about any possible new fix for the PVR/8800 models and he said "
All I can tell you is that there may not be a fix for this product any time soon."

As I said once before, if it was a software fix, they would have released one by now, so I am thinking it was a symptom of the products design which obviously you can't fix in existing units.

Walgreens keeps to a lower profile, the MPVr, I rarely seen a mpvr+ there? they also were supposed to stock the IS-DV2 and i believe I had a snap shot of it in Florida?

target i have not ben there since my trip to Florida, even the shelves were bare?

So I can say? you'll never see a cdr disk with a fix?

if left in the desert, a bear , a tree . you know the sayings. do nothold your breath?

I may opt to get a mustek if they present a better version?
