Hi all, was looking for a bit of advise and a few opinions on the following cameras.
Creative Divi Cam 428 Digilife DDV - M1/V1 Mustek DV9300 Vivitar DVR-410 I have read a big debate about the Digilife M1/V1, but cant seem to find much on the Creative Divi Cam, if anyone would shed some light on what it is like it would be much appreacited.I mainly want something to capture some highlights of my travels. The other two makes were ones of a similar size and price to what i want and can afford. Does anyone know if the Vivitar one has a flash???? I would be looking to buy these from a UK retailer for the best possible price. Look forward to hearing peoples opinions and the pros and cons of each of these camcorders. Thanks |

The Creative 428 and Vivitatr 410 are new to me. Their specs look good. The 410 is a bit outdated in sd card capacity. Both benefit from autofocus and 4.0Mp ccd sensors.
The Digilife's have video-in ports, remote controls and image stabilization, which neither of these claim to have. The Vivitar lists anti-Red Eye, so it has a flash. Bear in mind that like most hybrids, the flash can't be used for video. This is a tough choice. Image stabilization is important, but so is a ccd sensor and autofocus. The remote and video-in may or may not be something you'd find useful. Maybe the right approach is that for your first hybrid, these are similar enough that it doesn't matter which you get. Thanks for mentioning the new cameras, which I've added to the Hybrid List. There are getting to be a lot of hybrids with feature sets similar to these. Which makes choosing between them both difficult and unimportant. |
