welcome to the sit Please can you give a little more detail then my mpver will not turn on since last. that tells me 1. the battery is totally drained, dead. 2. the sd crashed and you need to remove the sd card, and battery for reset. 3. allowing the battery to charge in the charger, or getting 3aa size batts and make up 3.6vdc and see if you can touch the correct terminal (thread is in the pages for mpvr battery test) If you did something prior and made it burn out, then of course the camera wil not turn on, but there is always that posablility it went defective hope some of those tips help out let us all know |

Thanks for the fast reply Fishy
I have 3 batteries fully charged, so it can't be the batteries. I always take the batteries out when I'm not using them. I also took out my SD card. I just got off the phone with Aiptek, and I'm just gonna have it serviced. Lucky for me, they are only 20 mins away from me, so I can't be messed around with. It's just so wierd it wouldn't turn on all of the sudden. |

I agree .
It may have burnt out, a capaciter, or heat resister. . you are so lucky you are a few minutes away. maybe you can ask them "why haven't the vid aud synch issues were not resolved"? as well as the dv8800 can not be had, and for your troubles you want the 8 mega one Lol? I hope we can find the answer to this problem You are welcomed apon the answer. I am not a pro, but sometimes an overlooked thing can be easily fixed? I bet the prong of the battery terminal of the camera side i stuck inside the camera? the outer pins are for battery the inner hmm a huess for faster flash charging time. |

Thanks a lot Fishy. Yeah, I inspected the exterior of the camera. My camera still looks brand new:-). I'll see what I can do as far as the audio sync issue. I know you've already tried your hardest upon that.
