I bought a MPRV from wallgreens at christmas time last year. Since day one I was getting very poor battery life. I finally got around to calling aiptek this weekand the guy I talked to (ray?) was just outstanding in understanding my problem. He said they couldn't be sure if it was the battery or unit so he was going to replace them both no questions asked!!He also said they would check the new unit and battery to make sure they were working correctly before they sent them out to me. I was very pleased with the way they handled my situation. Three cheers for Aiptek!!!

When I bought an Aiptek DV4500 a couple of years ago, the cd-rom was defective. I phoned Aiptek in California, and as you described, found the support to be excellent and friendly.
