Hey, I was wondering about the DV5900, I have read some mixed reviews on some various sites, and was wondering how it sized up, its pros and cons? I have already ordered the DV5900, is the MPVR alot better, or worth getting instead? Thanks

It depends on what you want for what price. I don't own the 5900 but I know that it is less expensive than the MPVR. It still has an MP3 player like the MPVR but it has a smaller LCD screen and less frames per second during video recording. The MPVR can do VGA quality videos at 30 frames per second which is very smooth-looking. The other benefit it has is the ability to record movies off your DVD, TV, or computer. It also has an image stabilization feature to keep your video looking more steady when you are moving (say, filming from a car or walking along). MPVR's are getting cheaper lately, last I knew they are $130 in-store at Target. And like fishy said, in a short while the Zoom DV will be available (MPVR but with 3 x optical zoom) if you have the patience. :|
