I just tried "the walk thru" steps....recoreded some video.....and played the video back on the MPVR...the audio lags by a half second.....still. Don't see a way around it unless I wanna use software to correct.
Also, I uploaded a short movie where I know the audio/video is in sync....not when I played it back on the MPVR. I will call Aiptek on MOnday....I figure the call won't be a new one to them. |

this is the topic where you need to see why other members as you are having an issue? 1. firmware is out dated as well. now I got coffee in my system (lol):G The Camera has a 32 meg interanl memory. ( cannpt remember everything Sorry) if its devided 16 for buffer and read/write, and 16 for vid still voice mp3 etc. then one of the elf ext. files hasa bug in it. this can be corrected by either contacting Aiptek, finding a personal soplution , or returning fora different company camera. let you two talk about a simple resolution on how to fix this issue MoD FISHY update info 1 did you turn on the camera anddo a self test. record yourself counting as an example watch the vid as you speak you'll see immideatly the vid /aud synck when you talk on record 2 record wat 3 secs on record you'll see a closer vid/aud fix |

they are sync, but i notice that when i play them on the MPVr the first few secs skips.
i cant really describe it. when i play it on the comp the vid goes smoothly 1,2,3,4,5 but on the MPVr it's like 1,3,4,5 like a hiccup then plays smoothly. i assume that's the MPVr's internal lack of processing power. |

Hello all,
I'm new here. I just got my Aiptek MPVR and I have the same audio sync problem. The problem with my unit is strange. When I play back a video on the unit that I captured on the camera, there would be a delay for about 2 seconds before the sound starts and then the audio would lag until about 10 seconds into the clip, then it syncs up again. I was about to return it until I read the firmware thread. I have FW 1501 and Hw 00. So I upgraded the firmware to 1707 and the sync problem seem to be gone, or at least greatly reduced. So before you give up, check to see if you have an older firmware version and upgrade to see if it helps. AK :homey: |
