I think every Action HD owner should have access to the new firmware.

Aiptek can post a download of the firmware on their website.

Hmm. that might be because of revised processing, or a revision of hardware (like the ambarella chip). I wonder how it compares against the DXG 595v video quality now. You would probably notice a difference in the data-rates (the DXG seemed to be higher on the limited videos I have here). If there is a hardware difference, the firmware might not make the same difference tool hardware.

BTW, I would be interested to know what it says for sensor model on the new ones?
