1 what is in the camera as you do this?
2 try 3aa batteries modded to the camera 3 and where did you Purchase if from target simple return it if ebay contact ebay seller why you recieved a defectiv, used item passed on. if Aiptek call for a return, well Aiptek will return a new camera if you contact via a phone rather email. |

Do you have any non-compatible files on the memory card, or in the internal memory? Some hybrids are sensitive to this.

Try with another battery. My unit was delivered with a bad battery, lucky that my cellphone battery is the same as the camera's. The store took 3 weeks to replace with a new one.

It's a generic BLB-2 but it is 900mAH instead of the original 850mAH. There is no indication of the manufacturer. I returned ônly the battery, had I not tested the battery I would have returned the camera as well. But since I was able to use my camera with the spare battery from my Nokia phone, I can afford to wait3 weeks for the battery replacement.
They sent me the same type and I guess what I had is either an old stock or a real damage from the manufaturer |

batterie have electrolytes and if stored on a cement floor bye bye juice and battery.
this may not hold true for a sealed battery of li-on but can greately be damaged by intense heat, and improper storage. |
