So far as we know, the Digilife DDV-510 and 520 are not yet for retail sale. I think they are being advertised at the wholesale level in the Orient, but it likely will be a while yet before they're available on eBay etc.
We do have a crack team of people watching for new hybrids, so their arrival will be posted here very soon after it happens. |

I don't think the 520 has been released yet. On the Ispan site, you have to wait until it says "Available Now", not "Available In <month>". Available means in Taiwan - add a couple of months for other markets.

Once the cameras make it to this stage:
http://ispan.manufacturer.globalsour...GetProduct.htm it seems to mean they're "in the pipeline". I'd guess a month or two to eBay. |

Ispan is a tawain base Company.
Ispan has no outlets or exportedstores in the USA unless you are an importer for electronics. Ispan has not yet released the 520/530 model. you are best to Purchase a jvc or canon camorder for 270-300.00 it will be the near figure and the same size just about no release date on them till FALL of 2006 as well as the MPVR, and digilifes new model soon to be revieled |

I was searching in Google for "ddv-520", including the "" marks.
Yesterday, I got a listing on eBay Australia, with a 520 for sale. The ad had a link to the seller's store, where the 510 was also listed. Today, when I do the same search, I end up at eBay Australia, with a listing of hundreds of cameras, none of which are the ad I saw yesterday. Hm, I just figured it out. I signed onto eBay and checked the completed ads. Someone bought the camera. Here's the completed sale ad. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Digital-Camco...QQcmdZViewItem Hm, a seller who has sold nothing before, and an unregistered buyer. Here's the seller's store, with the 510" http://www.lifetechaus.com.au/ I think I'd be wary of that operation until they establish a track record. |

255.00 for a jvc camcorder 32 optical zoom the jvc 350 series. now would I go for that one the thing I like about our hybrids is that they are featherweights, take a sd cards no wor ry bout tape heads but if the price is equil to this 520/530. then its no way going to be that hard to decide what to do?
