I know this may not be the best forum to post this question, but since flash memory-based hybrid cameras/ camcorders are posted here, some of you who have bought brandname storage devices like Epson, X-Drive, Transcend etc. may be able to answer this:

We know all the brandname digital image storage devices certainly work for still image files, but do they recognize and transfer non-still files with extensions like AVI, MOV, ASF or MP4?

I have a non-brandname OTG external drive (in fact an enclosure with self-installed 2.5" HD) that recognises and transfers ALL types of files, whether they are image or video files or otherwise.

Thanks.
