Keep in mind that the DXG has fixed focus, which means that it nevers actually focuses on anything. A true focus mechanism has constant moving motorized lenses adjusting to your subject(s). There is a reason why you pay more for the likes of the C6. I'm also very skeptical aboutDXG's so called "optical zoom", even their product photo doesn't corroborate (it says digital zoom). It could be a marketing mistake, maybe creative marketing for a three position lens, is it even useable during filming? I wouldn't expect much if I were you.
