Did you get the newer 5mp model? standard lens (54 degree) or wide angle (170 degree)?

From what I have seen the audio is poor/ non-existant when inside the waterproof case. Outside the case, it sounds decent.

I would like to get one of these because of the small size for helmet mounting. I just cannot use it with the supplied mounts, I need something that is more flush with the helmet. Having a brick shaped camera sticking out the side or top of the helmet will not last long riding through the forest. I would need to mount it flat with a mirror / periscope mounted over the lens somehow. This company needs to offer a second model better suited to helmet mounting. Maybe they can look at the Vholdr model and get some good ideas?

Yeh I've seen a couple of videos taken with race cars, not that impressive in my opinion. On the other hand my trusty DigiLife does this

I am not sure which model you have, the 5mp standard or the 5mp wide.

GoPro just released a firmware update for the 170 degree Wide model, it allows cards larger than 2gig, and will write up to a 4 gig file size per clip.

Are you going to do a review on this thing???

Look familiar. Apparently redesigning the phone is making it look like a 60mp pocket hybrid.

But this thing is so far away, I am not bothering making a fuss about it. By the time the snapdragon 855 version comes end of next year there should be plenty of other 855 big megapixel phones, and we don't know if it will come. But if it does, it looks cool.
