Hi, I'm looking for a hybrid with the following specifications:

5.0 Megapixels stills or better

640 x 480 @ 30fps video

3x zoom (at least, but I prefer more)

Use of zoom while recording video

Good battery life

I have seen the Sony DSC-M2 and I like it but it is a little pricey and I would like to use one of my existing SD cards and not have to buy the Sony-style. Thanks for the recommendations.

most hybrids are 4x digital zoom

most allow zoom during record, but not snaping pics while record

battery life are around 1.5 hours and some with aa systems are 3 hours

flash has improved the mpvr for example has strong flash from the Is-dv.which is weak.

your 1st question is 5 megapixal before interpolated or aftere

most start with 3 megapixals interpolated up to 12 meg

and its all software issues on interpolated.

I was wondering which would be better:

-mustek dv 12m

-aiptek mpvr

And more specifically what capacity sd can the mustek hold, I know the aiptek can hold up to a 2 gb card but I have been unable to find out about the mustek.
