Recently purchased a 2 GB SD Card for my MPVR, which i'mabout to insert.
For those that have a MPVR, would i stand correct,in the User's Manual on page 7, is the instructionsfor inserting the 2 GB SC Card? Wouldn't expect the Veterans "fishycomics& 3FaCE" of this Board to answer this simple question, give the Rookies a chance, LOL. Thanks:-) |

if its your first time dealing with sd memory, it works like a floppy drive. Just eject the old one out and pop it in. device turns itself off as it is for protection.
of course i don't own a mpvr it slides in at start, if it doesnt, then you have it upside down. pins go in first. |

No actually I was referring to the word ...wait yea, yea that's it....:-)
Oh and I just remembered. You stick the SD card in REAL NICE and SLOW until it clicks. You may have to put some pressure on it to get it in there. I've found that even after sticking it in upside down and backwards, it still works fine. Thecards are QUITE durable :G |

I think the sd card will go in only one way. You don't have to force it if you've got it right. I believe the interface for these cards was designed to be "hot-swappable", which means you can insert or remove them with the power on. However, I just can't get comfortable doing that. Certainly don't insert or remove a memory card while the camera is busy.

sg..... you are absolutely correct on removing the sd while it is on/standby the vid shows that and is blurred you'll currupt the file two ways. while it is playing, and dead battery apon removal. i did it both ways. on a trip Lol lost some footage on the Is-Dv but I went back on rollerblades on the tour and got some more lol as well with my reliable mustek
