nice picture but its to far, the mountain is not seen as the focus of the picture, the field became the main in your picture..

you need also to adjust sharpness to full especially when your outdoor taking pictures and also check your Macro mode to be normal especially if your taking a picture in a distance... but i tell nice location you got there.. :dude:

Thanks for your advice!

Here is a few things you should know. I actually wanted to get some of the field in the picture including that tree on the right side of the mountain so that way it looks like the African Savana. Believe me, I did crop this picture...

This camera uses a fixed focal lens, so there is no sharpness adjustment I can possible do. I tried shooting shots in different scenery modes and the best one I thought was Landscape mode.

Unfortunetly, my camera does not have macro mode so I can not get too close to the object. My picture is actually a 9MP shot but I downsised to 1024-768 for web viewing purposes. This means the picture is actually bigger than what you guys are seing, thus. you can see more of the mountain.

PS: I sure love that self timer mode. Put your camera on a tripod and let the self timer take the shot so you don't jar the camera!
