Here to stay (well maybe sometime). People are silly, expensive shutter glasses are going to turn people off (even though they seem great for profits). Cheap Polarized glasses is a good compromise). One day we are going to see auto 3D that do not require glasses. I have a few designs myself, and volumetric. The sort they want for TV are a bit tricky.

S0, expect maybe better glasses free TV's in coming years.
