is it possible to put movies on to the ddv-7000 i know u can if you use your movies wat u have taken with the camcorder ,,, but movies that you have on your p-c do they need converting :?

If I could do it with my 4500 (NOT a media player) you can do it with the ddv-7000....i think. What I did was figure out the EXACT details of the files it recorded. Then I went in with a video editing program and changed everything to match. I had to actually rip the audio in .wav form and resave it as IMA-PCM format (that was the main factor causing the file read error). The video was simple, just changed the resolution and made the framerate match as well. Doing that, I got videos to play on my 4500. But they didn't look pretty lol! EXTREME pixelation and sometimes strange colors. But eh at least it played.:G
