do this...
-unatach card reader cable from pc -attach the cardreader (with no media card) -after windows is done recognizing it, double click "my computer" and look at all the drive letters. -double click on any of the usb card reader letters like on mine it's g. it should say "please insert card in drive g". if you cant get this far, its a driver issue. need to install driver for your card reader. If you can see the "please insert card in drive g" go to the next step. -place card in the card reader. If it still does not work, then there is a incompatability between the card reader and the card itself. I recommend either replacing the card or the cardreader itself with another brand. NOt all are interchangable. My prefference is PNY, Lexar for cards. one last thing, make sure your card is fat16 format. |
