I've been trying to work out what's going on here, Fishy and would be pleased if you'd care to explain. My understanding of time-lapse is that a static camera's SHUTTER is actuated whereas your device seems to be some sort of carousel.

Perplexed Scoot.

[Edit] Ah, you posted while I was typing, Fishy. So there's more to come then!

Cleaned up the pics.

Well, I've no idea what your '..........' means, Fishy but I'm in the picture now - so to speak! - thanks to a review website I subscribe to which featured a commercial version of your 'carousel'.

Thank you for asking.

As noted in a picture, the item is not a patent design, it is a store bought item, and how you go about your business , improving, basically a better mouse trap.

You can sit an hours time wit h device on it, or an item you want on it.

What I call common sense. Many online tut's, and vids. enjoy

As I demonstrated and shown n this clip/ What I thought was running and working, was not.

I need to retest the timer, may have a dead spot, or the weight of the gopro forced it to stop. I only turned the timer for 35 minutes not needing a full rotation, as I wanted scenery forward.

I may have to say To good to be true. until proven working.

Sucks when you see others with proven working.

Ah, but what brand/s of timers were the others using, Fishy. Perhaps they were more expensive than yours?

fishycomics Jul 10, 2013 2:29 PM

Yes they were very expensive, the Brand, they used were Ordning, the one I used was kea.

fishycomics Jul 10, 2013 5:54 PM

Lucky these timers are very expensive, and I have two. The timer has a weak spot, at 30 minutes. I shall swap top for top out, and try that one, before I modify the base again. I wanted compact, if not I will just get another 1/4 20 nut. gorilla brown glue into base. and find a Gorilla tripod, as I will be needing one soon.
